We got Harrison’s first picture with Santa today. I caught this with my phone while Harry was moving. A little blurry, but cute.
This was after our appointment to see the pulmonologist for Harrisons cough. Tomorrow we go back and they will “explore” his throat with a scope going in through his nose. The possibilites for the problem include (a) that the tissue making up the valve that opens and closes to prevent food from getting in his lungs is still developing and may just need some more time to grow or (b) there is extra tissue in his throat that tickles him when he cries. This could be removed or left to see how it does as he grows. It appears that there is nothing major to be concerned about, but they will go in and see for sure.
I just noticed that Kelly had put the layout he drew up of the new house on our flickr pictures so everybody could look at it. I think that is funny. I didn’t know that’s what his plan was. Anyway, if any of you have any suggestions on where to put our furniture, let us know!
Feeling pretty yucky tonight. In the last 24 hours I have come down with a pretty miserable cold. And I couldn’t call in sick to work today.
Harrison was kind of fussy today and I wonder if it was partly because I wasn’t feeling well and he could tell I was being fussy. Anyway, we have another showing tomorrow of the house (yay!) so I’ve been doing some cleaning tonight and I am ready to go to bed. I am trying to figure out what Harrison, Phoebe and I are going to do for an hour or so tomorrow during the showing–Kelly will be at work. We’ll figure something out. Maybe we’ll go to the Quad Cities and look at the snow. Just kidding.
Pics of the inside are now on Flickr.
Daddy wants me to be a baby model, so here is a test shot. I’m so cute!
Phoebe has been left out of a lot since Harrison has arrived. Here, she has buried herself in pillows to escape it all.
I am so thankful for her! I am so glad we get to spend every day together, too. I love you, mommy! -H
Assuming we can sell the old place, this will be our next home. Actually, it has a bit less space than our current home, but is better arranged and all on one floor. Plus, there is a full basement with endless possibilities.
Yeah, it’s used, but in very nice shape. Still a lot of miles left on this puppy! This has been a great home for us over the last 6+ years. It could be for the next several years, too. But, we are ready to move on to something a little easier for us to maintain and easier for our parents to visit us in (i.e. no stairs). We won’t mind not having stairs, either.

I just thought this was a cute picture…
