not just the weather (which was absolutely beautiful, especially after the heat we’ve had), but we had such a great evening together. Kelly left work at 4 and we went up to the Quad Cities to eat at Centro. We ate outside and listened to the Andrew Landers Project band play. It was perfect- we had a great meal, Harrison had fun be-bopping to the music, and Kelly and I enjoyed each other’s company. Then we found out some friends of ours from church paid for our whole dinner without us knowing it! Kelly sent our check off with the debit card and our server came back said “That guy at the other table paid for it.” Wow!! What a nice surprise. That, along with finding out our truck does not need to be repaired right now (which we thought was going to be $300-400) and finding out a prescription was only $16 instead of the $100 that I was expecting, and we’ve had a really good couple of days. Now I’m off to finish cleaning and getting ready for Harrison’s 1st birthday on Sunday. Kelly and I are going to decorate his “Cars” cake and cupcakes tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes!
We went to the skybridge tonight in the QC- like I said, it was a beautiful evening!!
