I use the word swimming loosely here…we signed Harrison up for some water adjustment classes, and unfortunately we weren’t real impressed. The first lesson we sang a couple of verses of "Wheels on the Bus" and then that was it! We could have done that on our own at the aquatic center! But that’s ok…we got to spend some time with him in the water, which he loved! Here are some pics…
My parents have been here this week and have helped with things around the house. My dad has gotten a significant amount of painting done and Kelly worked on trim a lot today. Mom and I have been doing some projects around the house. It has been a busy week! Besides that, they’ve been able to spend lots of time with Harrison.
Mom and I went and saw the Joffrey Ballet at Weed Park last night. It was sponsored by Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City for their 35th anniversary. It was awesome! I’m sure it’s a once in a great while opportunity, so I couldn’t pass it up. I could have watched it for hours. They were all so graceful and skilled. Kelly stayed at home with Harrison since it was past his bedtime. For some reason he didn’t care too much to go to the ballet…I don’t know why. :)He also stayed with Harrison tonight while my dad and I went to see the fireworks. They were good- and we actually got home just a little after 10, so that wasn’t too bad. I have some pictures to post, but this mama’s tired so I’m going to bed. I will be sure and post them tomorrow.
