Harrison turned 11 months old yesterday. He cut his 5th tooth sometime in the last 24 hours; it is on his top right, 2nd one in. It didn’t seem to bother him too much, which was good. And for my records…some things that he likes to do right now…he loves to paddycake and even do it on his face or on someone else’s face; he loves getting into the tupperware cabinet, swing the door open and closed; he loves to be under the table and chairs; he is really getting good at walking with his little truck back and forth across the living room and dining room; he throws his head back when he laughs; he’ll put his hands on my cheeks and look into my eyes and squeeze my face; he loves to throw food down to Phoebe from his highchair; he’ll stick his finger out and try putting it into our mouth; he is starting to scream as loud as he can and then look at you and grin; when trying to rock him, he’ll take out his pacifier, turn it around and put it in our mouth the right way and then laugh really hard; he loves to push the light switch down- he can’t push it back up yet; he has been eathing a lot more solid food- soft cooked green beans and broccoli, cottage cheese, yogurt and all kinds of fruit; he jabbers all the time…nananananana…babababababa…dadadadada…mamamamamama…but no words yet; all of his 9 month clothes are getting really tight, so we’ve been going to the 12 month things. I can’t believe you’re going to be a year old in just one short month. I can’t remember another time in my life when a year has gone faster. You are such a joy to have in our family and bring smiles to so many faces wherever you go, Harrison! I was told at the store today by the greeter that she sees a lot of cute babies, but you are a special one! I have to agree! We love you!
Since our camera is toast, we shot some video today. Harrison started walking behind this right away when we got it out for him yesterday. Still on his tiptoes, which is kinda funny.
I know in the grand scheme of things, it’s not the most important thing, but our camera is broken!! We have literally taken thousands of pictures in the last 11 months and now we have no camera! I am so frustrated. You know, we don’t have a few hundred dollars sitting around just to buy a new one. And now the question is…does this count as an emergency fund purchase? All of you Dave Ramsey fans will know what I’m talking about. :) Despite Kelly’s whole-hearted effort of fixing it, it is a goner. We’ll have to figure out something soon…I’m sure something will work out.
It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.

So yesterday I was at the Vision Center and as I was putting Harrison in his car seat, I heard this funny noise like a cart going by on the street or something. I didn’t think anything of it until I heard something crash. I looked over and saw our stroller about 20 feet away on its side with the contents strewn beside it on the parking lot. I was on the end aisle and it went towards the sidewalk and hit the curb by the grass. Oops! I hadn’t put the break on and the wind caught it. I always put the break on it when Harrison is in it, but don’t always when I am putting him in the car seat. I think I will from now on. :) I can imagine what people were thinking as they saw the run away stroller!
I love you so much!

I know…I said I was going to wait until he was a year old to cut his hair, but I had way too many people ask lately about ‘her’. Last weekend at church someone even asked if he was Jack’s girlfriend.
That is too funny. So, we waited until my dad the former barber was here and we gave him a trim. It took all 4 of us between keeping him occupied, taking pictures and taking video.
