IMG_2166 Harrison has been pulling himself up for a while now, and bumping his head quite often. I heard this idea of putting the swim noodles on the edges. Kelly cut them, glued them on the ends and put the whole thing on as one piece. I know it’s not very fashionable, but, hey, it works! (It can come off easily for company. :)

This is a new outfit…and since Grandpa Osburn is on a fishing trip, I thought it was appropriate! Hope you had a good trip, Dad! And I know we have a lot of pictures in the highchair…it seems to be the only spot where I can get him to sit still long enough to take a picture of something specific! :)

New Microwave

Amy | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

IMG_2154 Mom and Dad G. got us a new microwave/vent for over our range. They were able to use some points from their rewards program through AC Delco, and got us this nice microwave! And we can now take away our old microwave on a cart and make some room for some other things. Thanks Mom and Dad!!

First Swim

IMG_2121 IMG_2135 IMG_2131 IMG_2101 On monday when it was so hot, Sara, Jack, Harrison and I were going to go down to the new fountain. When we got there it wasn’t on! So, we came back and blew up our new little pool and splashed around in it a while.

I just thought this was funny. Both of these tomatoes were in the same package…hmmmmm.

I just got done feeding Harrison and rocking him to sleep. What a precious gift it is to be his mommy. I don’t want to take these moments for granted. I love this little boy so much. The last year has been full of change and new discoveries. I have added a whole new role to my life; no doubt my most important one. It has been challenging, fun, hard, tiring, fulfilling, oh, what a blessing! I love to watch him discover new things. Lately, he has been discovering his voice and will scream as loud as he can just to hear himself. He grins from ear to ear when I laugh after he does it. He loves to say “ba ba ba ba”. I’m working on “ma ma ma ma”. :)He’s pulling himself up and has stood by himself twice now for just a second or two, but it’s progress. I can’t believe he will be 9 months old on saturday. Time does fly.

Harrison, I love being your mommy. There is no other job in the world I would rather have. I am so glad I get to be home with you during the day and get you out of your crib after your naps. I am so glad I get to teach you new things, read with you, take you on walks and rock you to sleep at night. You are such a smiley baby and bring so much joy to people we see everywhere. And you have brought joy into our home. I love you. Mommy

Finally…

Kelly | Uncategorized | 0 Comments

I think I have fixed things so pictures we post in the future will take you to its Flickr page when you click on it so you can see it bigger and see other pictures, too.

Note that on a picture’s Flickr page, there is a link right above it called “All Sizes” that will take you to the largest version of the picture.  Also, if you have a Flickr account and are logged in, I think you can order prints and stuff (for the family out there that would want to).
