Harrison has learned to crawl through the bottom part of his exersaucer. Click on the flickr pictures to the right to see the whole sequence. His little arms are pretty strong…I think he’s going to be trying to pull himself up soon. He has already pulled himself up to his little toy box in the living room and tried to get things inside of it.
Harrison rolled himself up in his blanket the other day…he grabbed a corner, rolled and held onto it the whole time. It was really cute. We still haven’t gotten our pictures to where we can put more than one on an entry, so click on the Flickr pictures to the right to see the rest of them and some others from recently.
Harrison and I went shopping in the QC today. We had fun. We always have so many people stop and say how cute Harrison is. Today was no exception. They love his hair and his smile. It is so fun to see their faces light up after he smiles at them. I love bringing some sunshine into their day this way.
Then we always have the other people. I had one guy ask me where his shoes were (hello, he’s not even walking yet and he’s in a stroller right now). The same guy told me I wasn’t feeding him enough. I had one lady walk by and say “She’s so little she looks like she’s going to fall out of that stroller”. I had another lady ask “What’s her name?” It’s funny that two people would say that in one day…I’ve never had anyone think he was a girl before. It doesn’t bother me…I just think it’s funny that he’s in all blue with brown socks and they think he’s a girl. Sometimes you just have to smile!! ![]()
He’s got the motions going, now he just needs to practice!
Harrison officially crawled today! He’s been pretty mobile by just pulling himself by his arms like in the video, but today he actually stayed up on his knees and was crawling around. His little knees were so red by the end of the day. He can really move! I still watch him like a hawk, but I put up the gate going down to the basement and I put covers on the outlets. He does like to explore.
Kelly hurt his back yesterday, so he has been laid up all day. Please pray for him as he is in quite a bit of pain and can’t move very well. His back needs to stretch out, and I think he’s better tonight than this morning, but I hope it’s a lot better by tomorrow.
Harrison is getting a second tooth on the bottom already! Every once in a while I get a peek at them if he smiles big enough.
Every once in awhile, we’ll try to post some video. As you can see, he is able to get around and will soon be crawling!
